About National Safety Council First Aid Courses:

The National Safety Council is a recognized leader is First Aid programming. This course is designed, developed, and delivered using a performance-based training approach with a focus on skill development, current instructional design, and adult learning principles. 

This course will:

1. Build participants' confidence to perform competently during an emergency

2. Be delivered with a full range of instructional support materials for participants, and use a variety of media to support learning styles

3. Reinforce and apply previously-learned concepts and skills

The goal of this First Aid/CPR/AED course is to teach lay people how to provide first aid care for illnesses and injuries until professional medical care is possible.
